What to expect: The modernistic Ameritania features a lobby of stainless steel and glass, with mahogany paneling accents, cast-iron columns, chandeliers of floating silver discs, hand-painted murals, and chairs with curved back designs. The original contemporary decor and great location—less than a half-block from Broadway—attracts the young and hip, and theatergoers of all ages.

Amenity highlights: Guests enjoy a complimentary New York breakfast of juice, bagels, and coffee. Complimentary espresso and tea are offered 24 hours daily in the lounge. Just off the lobby, the Twist bar with retro 1960s decor and a fireplace invites relaxation and a sampling of specialty drinks such as Twist and Shout, with Tabasco-soaked olives.
