Bryant Park "Fete de Noel"
Bryant Park, 6th Avenue at 42nd Street
Bryant Park will be transformed into a festive winter wonderland of shopping, family entertainment and seasonal dining delights. The outdoor market, known as "Fêtes de Nöel" ("the holiday shops"), echoes the French tradition of outdoor holiday season shopping. It will feature arts and crafts from more than 80 New York artists and artisans, as well as The American Museum of Natural History and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. The market will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Christmas in Little Italy
Mulberry Street bet. Canal & Broome Sts.
Little Italy will be transformed into a Christmas Wonderland, its streets ablaze with Christmas lights and decorations, strolling carolers in costume, weekly parades and religious processions complete with colorful floats and marching bands, and free entertainment Dec 13-15 and Dec 20-22 from 12 noon to 5pm. Licensed street vendors positioned along the festival's streets will join local merchants in selling holiday gifts and merchandise from brightly decorated tents.
