The Scene

Wander into one of these three NYC neighborhood bars and you'll find just about the same thing: priced-right beer, pool and Ms. Pac-Man, and a full night's worth of characters to meet and keep you amused. A moose head hangs on the wall like a mascot, surrounded by vintage metal signs for tires, tobacco and Dad's root beer. Stools at the bar--so worn the woods feels soft--are the spinning kind. Yippee!

The Draw

From the Blues Brothers to Blues Traveler, tunes blare from the touch-screen jukebox at screw-the-neighbors volume. Be warned: This Ts-and-tanks crowd is not above singing along with Cher. Handy, since Thursday and Saturday the bar hosts one of the city's best karaoke nights at 10pm. Fridays offer live, college-style music, usually without a cover. It's a shot-slinging place, and young bartenders like to work the presentation.

Money Maker

There's an ATM all the way in the back.

Early Birds

Jump-start the day with $1 off beer, 11am-2pm.

Cover Up

The bar sells tiny tank tops with a Harley-style logo for $15.
