Order yourself a nicely pulled pint (it'll make up for the bar's scanty measured shots), sit back and observe low-key pickups among Brooklyn's subtly stylish.

The Draw

That chunk of change you got back back from your five-dollar bill will fit nicely in the jukebox, which stocks Buzzcocks, Merle Haggard and Dean Martin along with indie-rock bands of the moment. It's a diverse and convivial clientele who've made O'Connor's their home, especially on weeknights, when only the ample outer-borough cockroaches will fight you for your barstool.
